[Version 2.9] Open World Materials & Shop Adjustments

Version 2.9 integrates many materials of the Open World. Ancient Carvings and other materials are unified into the following 3 categories: the original [Ancient Willpower] and new materials [Mithril] & [Asterite].

Meanwhile, the Shop and materials collected from the Open World have undergone corresponding changes.

Major adjustments include

1) New common materials: [Mithril] and [Asterite]. The two new materials, along with [Ancient Willpower], will become the three common exchange materials in the game, which can be used to exchange for most items in the Shops.

2) Integration of Open World Materials: Ancient Carvings and other Open World materials will be transformed into common exchange materials proportionally.

3) Adjustments of Open World rewards: materials that can be obtained in Collection, Mecha Defense, and collection skills of the companion are now common materials.

4) Shop adjustments: the exchange items of the Open World Shop have been moved to other Shops, which can be traded with [Ancient Willpower], [Mithril] and [Asterite].

5) Weekly purchase quotas increased: weekly purchase quotas for Battlesuit Fragments or Souls in the [War Treasury] are increased.

6) Adjustments of other Shops: [Exchange Shop] and [Memory Shop] are renamed; some exchange items in [Dorm Shop] and [Logistics Terminal] are moved.



Special Notes

In Version 2.9, the original Open World Materials will not be transformed into Common Materials automatically, and Captains can still exchange for A/S-rank Battlesuit Fragments and Advanced Skill Materials with original materials.

In Version 2.9, Captains can still purchase Battlesuit Fragments and other items in the Open World Shop with their original materials, which can also be transformed into [Ancient Willpower], [Mithril] and [Asterite] for purchases in the new Shops.

In Version 3.0, all of the original Open World Materials will be automatically transformed into common materials proportionally, and the original Open World Shop will be shut down permanently.


Details of adjustments made to new common materials and Open World Materials are as below:



======Exchange among Three Common Materials======

The exchange rates among the three Common Materials are:

◆ One [Asterite] can be exchanged for 10 [Mithril].

◆ 600 [Mithril] plus 225 [Asterite] can be exchanged for 3 [Ancient Willpower], and the monthly limit of this exchange is 70 (i.e. up to 210 [Ancient Willpower] can be exchanged per month with [Mithril] and [Asterite]).



======Ways to Acquire Common Materials======

[Ancient Willpower], [Mithril] and [Asterite], the three Common Materials in the game, can be exchanged for most items in Shops. Ways to acquire them:

★★★Exchange from Original Open World Materials★★★

In Version 2.9, Captains can exchange original Open World Materials for [Ancient Willpower], [Mithril] and [Asterite] at certain exchange rates.

Exchange rates:




For instance:

Every 100 Silver Coins can be exchanged for 240 Mithril and 30 Asterite.

Every 10 Ancient Carvings can be exchanged for 1400 Asterite and 11 Ancient Willpower.

Note: when exchanging, decimals will be rounded up.

For example, 11 Silver Coins can be exchanged for 26.4 ≈ 27 [Mithril] and 3.3 ≈ 4 [Asterite].



★★★Open World Acquisition★★★

◆ Open World Collection

When collecting in Schicksal HQ Open World and Sakura Samsara, collectable materials are adjusted to three Common Materials: [Ancient Willpower], [Mithril] and [Asterite].

Below are the reference volumes of the original weekly material collection in Schicksal HQ and Sakura Samsara Open World, and that of the updated materials in contrast:

◆ Daily collection from Open World Companion Skills (Higokumaru/Ai-chan Tech):

In Schicksal HQ Open World and Sakura Samsara, daily collection materials from Companion Skills are adjusted to [Mithril] and [Asterite]. Below are comparisons between collection of original and present materials:



◆ Schicksal HQ: Mecha Defense rewards:

Weekly rewards of Mecha Defense in Schicksal HQ are adjusted to [Ancient Willpower] and [Asterite]. Below are comparisons between collection of original and present materials:




★★★Daily Duty Points Rewards and Activity Rewards★★★

◆ [Intermediate Toolbox]*2, one of the original rewards of reaching150 Duty Points, is adjusted to [Mithril]*1200.

◆Captains can challenge activities which previously provide original Open World Materials (such as Memorial Arena) to get a certain number of [Mithril] and [Asterite].



★★★Trading/Salvaging Items★★★

Apart from the Open World, Captains can also obtain [Mithril] and [Asterite] by trading or salvaging certain items.

◆Most Stigmata obtained from events can be salvaged for Mithril or Asterite.

◆Listed 2★ or 3★Weapons will now be salvaged for Mithril of the same value as Upgrade Materials from previous salvages (Upgrade Materials will no longer be granted).



◆Energy System:

Version 2.9 brings a new Energy system. Captains now obtain a certain number of [Energy] points by completing Daily Missions or obtaining Duty Points.

When trading or salvaging items, Captains can obtain more [Asterite] by consuming [Energy] points.

*Tip: during the Spring Festival Event, Captains can open Wooden Chests free of charge in Spring Lo

bby. Each Wooden Chest contains 300 [Energy], and randomly grants [Asterite], Lobby Fireworks and other rewards. (Each Captain may open up to 3 [Wooden Chests] every day)


The above outlines ways to obtain [Mithril] and [Asterite] in Version 2.9. More ways will be available in future versions.



======Exchange Options of Common Materials======

In Version 2.9, Captains can exchange items including Battlesuit Fragments/Souls, Skill Material, EXP Chips, and certain Upgrade Materials with the three Common Materials in Exchange Shop, Logistics Terminal, Memory Shop, War Treasury.

Required materials to exchange for Battlesuit Fragments and Souls in the Open World are adjusted as below:

★Shop Name Changes★

1) [Exchange Shop] is renamed [Mithril Shop].

2) [Memory Shop] is renamed [Asterite Shop].



★Open World Shop Changes★

1) 3★ equipment in the Open World Shop: will be moved to [Foundry], and can be purchased with [Honkai Pieces] and [Magatama].

2) 4★ equipment in the Open World Shop: will be moved to [Foundry], and can be purchased with [SS/AE Imaginon] and [Magatama/Aesir Core].

3) Basic Skill Materials in the Open World Shop: will be moved to [Mithril Shop (previously Exchange Shop)], and can be purchased with [Mithril].

4) Advanced Skill Materials in the Open World Shop: will be moved to [Asterite Shop (previously Memory Shop)], and can be purchased with [Asterite].

5) S-rank Battlesuit Fragments in the Open World Shop: will be moved to [War Treasury], with required materials updated (refer to the table above).

6) A-rank Battlesuit Fragments in the Open World Shop: will be moved to [Asterite Shop (previously Memory Shop)], with required materials updated (refer to the table above).

7) For all exchangeable items of [Fusion Recipes], maximum exchange limit will be changed to 99.

◆ Special Notes:

In Version 2.9, players can still exchange A/S-rank Battlesuit Fragments and Advanced Skill Materials with original materials in the Open World Shop. In Version 2.9, Captains can still purchase Battlesuit Fragments and other items in the Open World Shop with original materials, which can also be exchanged into [Ancient Willpower], [Mithril] and [Asterite] for purchases in the new Shops.

In Version 3.0, all of the original Open World materials will be automatically transformed into Common Materials proportionally, and the original [Fusion Recipes], [Forge Recipes], [Schicksal Shop] will be shut down permanently.



★Other Shop Changes★

1) Exchangeable Item Changes:

2&3★ Weekday Materials, 2&3★ Upgrade Materials, 3&4★ Equipment EXP/Battlesuit EXP Materials in the [Logistics Terminal]: will be moved to [Mithril Shop], and can be purchased with [Mithril].

4★ Weekday Materials, 4★ Upgrade Materials in the [Logistics Terminal]: will be moved to [Asterite Shop], and can be purchased with [Asterite].

[Dorm Shop] will be shut down, whereas Home Decorating Materials and Honkai Blocks will be moved to [Mithril Shop] and can be purchased with [Mithril]; Delicate Dessert will be moved to [Asterite Shop] and can be purchased with [Asterite]; Common Coins and Dorm Permissions are moved to [Logistics Terminal].

2) Purchase Limit and Prices Changes:

The daily purchase limit of Time Seal Box in the [Mithril Shop] is adjusted to 4.

There will be Weekly purchase limits for S-rank Battlesuit Fragments, [Sixth Serenade] Soul, [Sealed Sakura Earthen Jar] in the [War Treasury], and prices for certain Battlesuit Fragments are adjusted. Details:




3) Time-limited Exchange Shop added:

◆ In Version 2.9, there will be a limited-time Exchange Shop (till the next version), where Captains can exchange for Asterite, Mithril and Ancient Willpower with Open World Materials.

◆Meanwhile, Captains can also exchange for Matrix completion rewards with [Fuel], or exchange Time Swirl completion rewards with Time Swirl Pass in the limited-time shop.
